What are brain tumours?
Generally known as an intracranial tumour, it is a mass of abnormal tissue which makes the cells grow multiplay and in an uncontrollable rate. It remains unchecked by the mechanism that controls healthy cells. What are the types of brain tumours?
Brain tumours are broadly divided into two categories. It is termed as a primary brain tumour and metastatic brain tumour, respectively.
A primary brain tumour can be defined as tissues originating from the brain and its surroundings. It can be further classified into glial or non-glial; the former is made up of a glial cell, and the later is formed in the structure of the brain.

Magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) is used to detect the chemical profile of the tumour. Also, positron emission tomography (PET scan). Is used to identify and examine recurring brain tumours. Surgery- Often, doctors will prescribe surgery as they remove the cancerous cells and tissues from the brain through it.
