To use the app, just tap on the wallet icon on your iPod, iPhone or Apple Watch.

There are several ways you can add passes to the Wallet:

For iPhone and iPads, scroll down in the Wallet option in your iPhone to find apps for the wallet. It will show a QR code, scan this code. Turn on the Wallet notifications and get them on the mail or through SMSs. Go through the options on the browser and share it through AirDrop. Use your Mac and create an iTunes Pass.

Contact the Apple merchant, if you can’t find the option to add a card, ticket, or other passes to Wallet. They will surely help you.

Sometimes an Add button pop-up might appear during this process. Tap on this pop-up to add your pass to the Wallet. You will need to follow some instructions by the pass issuer if you want to get the Wallet on your Apple watch. You will get these instructions through your email. All you will have to do is to open the app and tap ‘Add’ when you get the notification from your pass issuer.

How to use a pass in Wallet

It is very easy to use passes in Wallet on your iPhone, iPod touch, and Apple Watch.

Mostly, your passes like your boarding passes or your movie passes will appear automatically on your iPhone, iPod touch and Apple Watch based on the time or your location.

You will need to unlock the device you are using to show your pass, and scan or tap it.

You can use these passes easily in iOS 9 and iPhone 6 also. Open Wallet by double-clicking the Home Button from the Lock Screen to use your cards in the Wallet that works with Apple Pay.

For using contactless passes on your Apple Watch, tap the notification and get the details to follow. In case you don’t get a notification, double click the side button on your Apple Watch. Hold the watch a few centimeters away from the reader so that the display faces the reader.

Modify pass settings in Wallet:

To change the settings for any pass in the Wallet you can follow the below steps:

Tap the pass

Tap the more button and see the settings

Remove the pass from Wallet or share it, if it can be shared.

Pull down and refresh the pass to update it.

Open the app related to the pass and turn on or off the automatic updates according to your needs to get or stops the updates from the card issuer.

Turn on the ‘Suggest on Lock Screen’ to show the pass based on time or location.

Turn on or off Automatic Selection to get the selected pass where it's requested.

You can get the important merchant contact information on the info screen.

Tap and hold a pass and then drag it to a new place to reorder it. The change will get automatically updated across all of your devices.

How To Get Pass Notifications:

You can get notifications for things like flight updates or sales for nearby stores on your iPhone, iPod touch, and Apple Watch. All you will need to do is to turn on the notifications settings for the Wallet from your respective device.
