On March 25 this year, Mr. Shao, living in Luohu District, Shenzhen, after received such a text message from 95017, he believed that he should log into the website in the text message and filled in his ID card information, bank card number, bank card password and verification code.
And then he found that his money was transferred in three strokes, totaling 9738 yuan.
Wang Zhengtu, head of the Shenzhen Anti-Fraud Center, said that criminals shielded the signals of real carrier base stations through pseudo base stations, using virtual WeChat customer service.
The fraud use "95017" sends a text message containing a fake phishing website.
This is not the first case:
The fraud sets the WeChat payment icon as a profile photo and sets the nickname as secure payment management. He will take the initiative to apply to add you as a friend.
If you agree to his friend application, he will send you the following information with a link.
After you click on the link, the page will notice you start the verification.
If you click "Start Verification", the page will appear to enter your payment password. and then your WeChat wallet or even the money in the bank card will be missing.
Don't click on unknown web links, and don't fill in important information about property security such as social account passwords, mobile phone verification codes, bank card passwords, etc.
At present, WeChat does not carry out the so-called "second real name certification."
