Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah had struck early to put India in control.

Bhuvi, who rocked Pakistan in India's last group match, dismissed Bangladesh opener Litton Das (7) as he was smartly caught by Kedar Jadhav on the fine leg boundary.

Bumrah removed Nazmul Hosasain (7) in the next over as Bangladesh slumped to 16/2.

Mushfiqur Rahim and Shakib Al Hassan (17) put on 26 for the third wicket before Jadeja removed the latter.

Mohammed Mithun (9) was trapped in front of the wicket by Jadeja as India tightened their grip on the Tigers.
