Not Savvy With Artificial Intelligence (AI)? You Might as Well be Extinct.
Remember the Terminator films? Yeah.
We jest, of course. It's not like machines will rule the world. But for some, it may seem like that. The fact is 2018 saw AI, or artificial intelligence, hit the mainstream in a major way. But brace yourselves....
2019, You're Going to See Artificial Intelligence EVERYWHERE
So if you're not up on the trend, you might as well as dig your own corporate grave. If you thought corporate competition was tough enough, you haven't seen anything, yet, pal.
As it stands, the first phase of the technology -- which was a trial period -- ended up being an examination of where AI fits. Which is just about everywhere. Naturally as we acclimate to a new tech, we feel around for any of the bumps and bruises associated with something new, and we determine whether or not it's viable.
Interestingly enough, artificial intelligence is so seamless that oftentimes we don't even know it's there. Everything from cloud networks to distribution and even financial transactions -- AI is everywhere now. But soon to come, not only will it be everywhere, but exist autonomously everywhere.
Think of Your Smartphones, Your Home Assistants, Robots? Maybe Kitchen Gadgets and Cars.
Sky's the limit. What your brain can imagine, artificial intelligence can probably accommodate. Remember those little search engines, such as, I dunno -- Google? -- Yeah, there's an AI algorithm there, too. Netflix will be climbing on board that bandwagon pretty soon, what with Alexa and Siri still charming the snot out of people.
They're machines that can learn. So you're looking at cars that will be able to drive themselves one day, robot doctors that will be able to diagnose you one day, robot pilots that will be able to fly you from Los Angeles to New York one day.
It's Not Entirely Out of the Realm of Possibility
And just remember how some of those previous technologies suddenly exploded into the scene with such gusto, and we all marveled at it while the time passed. Lo and behold, it's now 2019 -- and we can do freakin' augmented reality. The stuff's real. And it'll hit sooner than you think.
This isn't a theory. It's a prediction. And a very accurate one.
